Tom,
That alignment option is only available for Top-Level menu items.
It is not available for individual submenu items. I only needed to adjust the last sub-menu item which is on the right hand side edge. Looks like this is not possible.
( i need all submenus to cascade to right and last one to cascade left. It should be intelligent enough to do this without having to specify since it is already off-screen. i wonder if the premium version can do this)Forum: Plugins

Maybe when you updated/installed woocommerce for this client you installed it into a folder called “woocommerce-ver-267” instead of ‘woocommerce’…

But seriously, for people needing to “menu-tised” their categories/products – i can’t imagine if they chop/add products – they need to grapple with the menu builder all the time.
BUT that said – i think it will be too complex for any auto menu builder to take that task – as it has to consider if that item is private listed/hidden/has-zero-stock (before auto including it into the menu) etc etc.
So i understand why the menu building process is not automatic
