Thanks for your prompt respone !
I tried all of your suggestions:
    – completely deactivated all plugins: no change
    – checked .htaccess: no particularities seen
    – post_max_size was already on 64M

A call to the provider/hoster resulted in having all server parameters well beyond these limits.
Interestingly, an other of my websites at the same hoster under my same contract worked well with UFAQ Plugin.
So I suspect that the reason is behind the theme (Unicon), but I cannot change it by other reasons. So there is no other way: I give up and have to take another FAQ plugin, which is a pity because I like the UFAQ Plugin in general, but if I cannot get it running it doesn’t help.

Thanks for your support any way

    Hi,
    thanks for your reply.

ad 1) complete error text is “Request Entity Too Large
    The requested resource
    /wp-admin/admin.php
does not allow request data with POST requests, or the amount of data provided in the request exceeds the capacity limit.

ad 2) no, it’s just clicking the “save changes” button after having changed some options, no images contained in the FAQS, only short texts

ad 3) upload file size limit for this site is 64 MB

    Thanks for pursuing this further.

    Best regards
