In reply to: Bad Behavior rejects Google crawlsVijay, that request is not from an Amazon crawler; it is from a spammer or other malicious robot which rents virtual server space in Amazon’s cloud.
Michaellinder, the reason you were having trouble is you are using CloudFlare with a development version of Bad Behavior; your issue should be fixed in the latest development release. If you find that it isn’t, please reply to the email I sent you two months ago.

In reply to: [Plugin: Bad Behavior] Bad behavior error 403If you keep getting this after you uninstall the plugin, then another plugin on your blog is causing the problem. Most likely it is a caching plugin such as Hyper Cache.
Please visit the Bad Behavior web site for assistance with your issue with a development version of Bad Behavior.

In reply to: Bad Behavior overtaken by new developments? The problem with the massive volume of spam I’m seeing these days is that the spam software has been implemented as an Internet Explorer BHO (plugin). This makes it almost impossible to detect and prevent beforehand.
That said, I’m working on a strategy for Bad Behavior to catch and block these (there IS a pattern I can use) but since it requires some major changes to the platform it will be going into my 2.1 development cycle. Stay tuned at the Bad Behavior web site.
