And don’t post about Bad Behavior on these forums if you expect a response from the developer. I don’t read here much. 🙂

In reply to: [Plugin: Bad Behavior] Automatic update from 2.0.16->2.0.17 failsGawd only knows. One little permission/ownership problem and the WP plugin updater(s) fail. And I mean epic fail. Without clue as to why. So this sort of thing is often difficult to pinpoint. At least I can sleep at night knowing it’s not my fault. 🙂

In reply to: [Plugin: Bad Behavior] Automatic update from 2.0.16->2.0.17 failsI’d like to fix this, if it’s a problem on my end (and not a problem with your web hosting provider, or with WordPress itself). Please check the server’s error_log to see what errors were logged when the upgrade failed. Thanks!
Looks like a problem with the Search Everything plugin. Bad Behavior doesn’t touch any of those tables/rows.

In reply to: Bad Behavior 403 renders WordPress uselessgenesteinberg, you’ve posted an entirely unrelated question to a resolved topic. Anyway, you should report the problem to the author of Bad Behavior to determine if it is a problem with Bad Behavior or with the web service you are using.

In reply to: a lot of error in error_log fileThis obviously has nothing to do with Bad Behavior.

In reply to: Bad Behavior prevents receival of pingbacksYou should not report bugs here. The author will almost certainly not see them. By the way, there is no 2.0.13.

In reply to: Bad Behavior behaved “badly” on my blogThe original poster should also avoid blaming Bad Behavior for her own mistakes.

In reply to: Digg submission of links not working with wordpressThis has been worked around in the latest version of Bad Behavior. Though I still recommend that you contact digg and report the problem, as it’s their fault.

In reply to: Bad Behavior receives Fatal ErrorI’ve gotten Bad Behavior’s listing current on the WordPress site. Somebody should have told me that was there. Apparently people have been downloading ancient versions from there. 🙁

In reply to: Bad Behavior and speed?Bad Behavior does DNS lookups to query blackhole lists to see if the commenter is a known spammer at the time the comment is submitted. If your host’s DNS servers are slow, then this stage of Bad Behavior will also be slow.
In other words, it’s your web host and there’s not a whole lot I can do about it.
