I worked with Tara privately to get this resolved. We were able to identify that the issue was only occurring when she placed the
[ld_course_list]shortcode INSIDE of the[visitor]and[/visitor]shortcodes.The
[visitor]shortcode automatically adds<p>tags by default. In Gutenberg, you can disable these with a toggle (see screenshot). If you’re forced to use shortcodes (if using a page builder, for example), you can use this to disable the
<p>tags, which will fix the course grid alignment issues.[visitor autop="false"][ld_course_list][/visitor]Hi Tara — Sorry you’re experiencing this issue. We have seen this before. It’s partially related to our plugin (nice detective work 👍), and (usually) partially related to the theme you’re using.
In order to enhance the course grid design, we use different code than LearnDash to space out the columns, and this sometimes conflicts with other themes that also use similar code for grids of their own.
If your grid page is publicly accessible, please post a link here. I should be able to write some CSS that will fix the issue. If not, please email us at [email protected] so we can get access to your site and help you get your grid back in order.

Hi @zer0sn0t,
Just checking in to see if you still need help. If so, please post a link to your site and include a screenshot or two to help me understand what you’re trying to achieve.
If I don’t hear from you in another week or so, I’ll be marking this ticket as resolved. Thanks.

Hi @zer0sn0t,
1) There is no setting to adjust the font size. However, this plugin does remove some of the font sizes that LearnDash puts in place (we found them to be too small in many cases), and we make it so that your site will inherit the font sizing of your theme.
So, if your fonts seem too small, there might be a single CSS adjustment you can make with your theme’s CSS to increase the size sitewide (including LearnDash elements).
If you provide a link to your site, I’d be happy to see if I can help you with the CSS.
2) There is no way to toggle features on or off. However, if the things you’d like to “toggle off” are minimal, I can probably help you with the CSS to return them to their original state.
Just let me know what they are and I’ll see if I can help. Annotated screenshots are also very helpful.

In reply to: [Design Upgrade for LearnDash] Well Thought Out Excellent PluginHey Bill! Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a nice review 🙂. We really appreciate it.
Just for future readers out there, please note that Bill purchased the Pro version of the plugin. But we provide the same speedy response time and over-the-top support to our free users, as well 🙌 (it just doesn’t come with all the customizable options).

Would you mind sharing a screenshot or a quick description of what you added to Focus Mode, and where? I’d love to see how people are using it, and it’d be great to give the community ideas as well.

In reply to: [Design Upgrade for LearnDash] LD Color Settings not clearedI’m closing this issue because I have worked privately via email with bramvanast and we have resolved the issue.
It’s not 100% clear what the resolution was, but 2 other design-related LearnDash plugins were being used (Divi LearnDash Kit & Visual Customizer). It’s possible there was a conflict with one (or both) of those.
LearnDash also changed the way they save color settings, as mentioned above, so I think this was also causing confusion.
If anyone else has similar issues, please email us at [email protected], as the issue is likely to be unique to your specific setup. We’re happy to help troubleshoot it for you.

In reply to: [Design Upgrade for LearnDash] LD Color Settings not clearedJust making a public note that we have communicated privately via email, and are working through the issue. I’ll post an update once resolved.
Hi @captainpokey,
My apologies for the confusion, but the options in the Customizer are only available in the Pro version of the plugin. The free version adds CSS behind the scenes which improves the overall design… but it doesn’t have the options in the Customizer.
I know some of the reviews on ww.wp.xz.cn are for the Pro version, and that is a bit confusing. I try to clarify whenever possible.
Let me know if you have any other questions,

In reply to: [Design Upgrade for LearnDash] LD Color Settings not clearedHey @bramvanast,
LearnDash changed the way they save these settings in LearnDash 3.1, but based on your screenshot, it looks like your situation is not normal behavior.
I’d like to login to your site and see if I can figure out what’s going on.
Can you please email [email protected] with an admin login to your site so I can take a look?
Thanks,
Dave
