In reply to: [Autoptimize] CSS files not autoptimizedWA help advised that their built-in SiteSpeed feature adds the hashcash.js file.
It already caches, combines and minifies Javascript and CSS.
I tried turning off their SiteSpeed and using AO alone but got “not found” errors trying to access plugins. I can’t even get to AO to work with it.
The good news is that deactivating AO and turning SiteSpeed on, PageSpeed is happy. My score is 90 and the recommended “Opportunity” is to Defer offscreen images to save 0.9s
With SiteSpeed turned on and AO activated, my PageSpeed scores are in the 60s.
Sorry but I will have to delete AO. I believe it is a great product and your support is amazing.
Thanks for all your help.

In reply to: [Autoptimize] CSS files not autoptimizedNo idea.
When I Google “hashcash.js” it appears to be a spam blocker. WA server has a built-in spam blocker that I can’t turn off.
Do you think it might be blocking AO?Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Autoptimize] CSS files not autoptimizedHi Frank,
I have all plugins deactivated except Async JavaScript, Autoptimize, Autoptimize CriticalCSS Power-Up, and ShortPixel Image Optimizer. All of these are supposed to work together and were added in the last couple of days, except Autoptimize which worked before.
My theme is Twenty-Seventeen and should also play nice with Autoptimize.
It still doesn’t autoptimize CSS files.
Traffic is very light and the fundamentals are working, so I’ll leave it as is until you can have another look.
Thanks,
Ed
