Finaly, the question has nothing to do with Nextgen, but anyway after having done a Twentyfourteen’s child theme, I put in child theme’s style sheet:
.full-width .site-content .entry-content {
max-width: 700px;
}
In this way I got five 120px width images x row.

With the twentytwelve theme up to 6 Thumbnails (same size) could be displayed. Look at the following link:
