I’m trying not to do it manually though. The goal is after ppl do a tutorial or fill out a form, they would get directed to a special page there when they click a button, the custom capability gets added to their free level 0 / subscriber account.

Although the above code appears to have worked without requiring payment. Though if I click on it as an admin, that causes a red error message.
