In reply to: [TikTok] new version wiped out our settingsOK fine. Then tiktok removed. BUT, that still doesn’t explain why we can no longer login. Your plugin doesn’t even recognize us as already signed up! We had all business verifications approved on both sides (from the app plugin, and from tiktok .com)
Now, not matter what info I try to “connect” with it doesn’t see as already completed.

Worse, now if we login at our tiktok.com/username our shop products are gone, there is nothing. Hours of work missing. YOU WIPED out WORK to make us start from scratch.
You should have told us prior.
Now I regret giving the 3 star review. I’m furious.

In reply to: [TikTok] new version wiped out our settingsFirst, there is no word “Advertising” in our wordpress. Assuming you meant Marketing, yes, I see that, and clicked on TikTok there. But, when I did, yet a new error problem. A page loaded and displays the following

In reply to: [TikTok] new version wiped out our settingsYou first asked for a screen shot, so I took one, and there is not a way to attach, so I replied to tell you that, and now you are asking for shop code and website. I have no idea who you are. No one should handle support that way.
Poor support for a buggy not properly tested plugin. Sellers that run businesses don’t have time for lengthy processes.
I’ll spread the word directly to tiktok not to use the buggy plugin.

A completely weird this just occurred. I restarted our work station and after I updated two plugins, the theme and your 502 version the icons came back!!
I cannot explain this, it’s too strange, does not make sense at all.
At any rate, all OK now. THANK YOU for your Reponses. If we are ever successful with our business we will surly purchase your pro version based on this great support!

I just noticed you pushed out another update. fyi the version that broke things was 501, and you just updated to 502.

and again, I know it could be something else that was cause, but, I am being accurate on how the incident took place. I updated Simple SSL and then the icons were gone, period. and I did not update any other plugin, simple SSL was the only update available at the time before the social icons disappeared.

yes, because it broke something. that said, our web dev has not looked/fixed the sites yet.
Allow me to be forward again, seconds before I updated Simple SSL I checked all three sites, I do that after learning lessons from the past. All three sites were fine on two browsers, edge and firefox. All three sites had our social icons intact. I then updated the plugin on all three sites, then checked the sites and the social icons disappeared.
Yes, I know I should have checked one site at a time, but that doesn’t change the occurrence. One odd thing afterwards, we received an email from the theme author moments after this incident that an update was available, so I installed it on all three sites, that didn’t fix the social icons. ALL that said, could the issue have been caused by something else? Well obvisly. But what are the odds? I literally installed your update, and the social icons disappeared. The worrisome part is, on the theme itself, I located the feature that turns the social icons set on and off (Enable or Disable) and it is Enabled! So, I am worried. I hope our dev can fix it, he has not replied yet, I am sure he is still sleeping. Our theme by the way is called Porto. I like the way it looks, but would never recommended it, it has had so many issues over the years.
