Thank you for the reply. I’ve checked the areas you mention. The values I set on my install are as follows:

How does Wordfence get IPs – Let Wordfence use the most secure method to get visitor IP addresses. Prevents spoofing and works with most sites.

Similarly, the option of “scan for misconfigured How does Wordfence get IPs” was already enabled.

Maybe I wasn’t clear enough. I read that as well. If this was fixed in 2013 then why is the issue occurring now on a fully patched install?

Think I’ve resolved my own problem. Within General Settings menu, https://codex.ww.wp.xz.cn/Settings_General_SubPanel changing the WordPress Address (URL) and Site Address (URL) to remove localhost and replace it with the IP address of the host.
