Will take a look at that. 🙂
G+ has the albuns feature and it is integrated with Picasa. Such difference seems incoherence from Google. 🙂
Thank you very much, again.
Thank you vry much 🙂
So, now we have the solution and its specifics. However, I do not seem to be able to find the configuration to change the url settings (from numbers to words). I only get the numbers ID for user and album.
Care to help me to sort this out? 🙂
Thanks again
Hello,
I am having an issue with the syntax.
Should it not be possible to use the ID (numbers) for the specific album one want to have displayed? It is how it shows in the URL for the album. Thanks

In reply to: Home page on Pilot FishDanni,
the home featured images (previously “think/design/develop”) still disappear when you apply a change that is not directly into the code to them.
When I add a text widget to the “featured one”, “featured two” or “featured three” widget areas, is when that happens.
Previously, the images dissapearing happenned when we tried changing the picture image (and uploading different images instead).
One one hand, I do not think you should keep changing the template to attend our will 😉 but fixing those glitches is all for the best.
Best regards

In reply to: Home page on Pilot FishHi, Danni.
Sorry for the long abscence! But things got wild at work and had a huge demand on events (which is what I work on). Afterwards I left the job to keep my own business on eents with games and technology.Again, to attend a huge and crescent demand of work.
I thank God for that! 😉Have you been able to adjust the template code, concerning the sudden dissapearence of the “think/design/develop” pictures when we change the settings in the sidebar-home.php in the wp editor?
I am now going back to finish the settings and all the customization! 😉 New clients coming!
Best regards

In reply to: Home page on Pilot FishOlá, Pasky.
Me desculpe pela demora.
permalink = http://www.seublog.com/projects
Ok?
********
To those who do not speak Portuguese, I will translate 😉
The page title may be changed to “Projetos”, “Works” or anything else. But the permalink can’t be changed.
Meaning:permalink = http://www.seublog.com/projects
Title = “Projetos”, “Works”The projects title can be changed like any usual page or post.
But the projects you wish to have in the projects page must follow the settings as I posted above. 😉Obrigado
Thank youForum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Home page on Pilot FishHi, Cristina.
Let’s take a look at Danni’s explanations:First, consider there is not such a thing as a “Project” item at the menu, right?
So:
1) To display the portfolio page (as a manu item and to be enabled to show as in the Demo), please create a new page (in the dashboard, under Page item), and set the page template (under the settings options at the right side of the “page” screen, near the other settings) to “Project Archive”
2) then change the slug to “project” (under the title field, you will have the address for that project page. Change the end to “project”). Or add the custom link “http://yoursitename.com/project/” to your menu.
3) Go to the Project area, that is much like “Posts” and “Page” options. Write your specifications for your project, specify the title, add images if you like, and write about your project.
To have an image for each project displaying under the projects list (which is now your projects page, as you set up above), add an image (preferably from your own computer) under the “featured imagem” option, on the right bottom side of the “Project” screen (same for Posts and Pages featured images).
If the page still displays an Error 404, you may need to update your “Permalinks” for the page to work. Just go to “Permalinks” under “Settings”, and save it again 😉
Try it 😉
About your other questions:
What text do you mean to change the colors of?
You can add the text “in” the image you will set as a header. Then you will have an image which has also a text positioned as you wish, as a header. 😉
Best regards

In reply to: Home page on Pilot FishHi, Cristina, your questions were my own in the begining of this thread 😉
Danni answered them clearly.Danni, Ruth and I have the same problem with the “think/design/develop” disappearing after we add an image header to the template. But they do not come back after we remove the image.
Apparently, the code supress the “think/design/develop” lines after an image header is added and removing it will not change the code back.
So, it is not a local issue. 😉
Thanks

In reply to: Home page on Pilot FishDanni and Maria,
we can also switch the background image (trees) under appearance menu, in the background option 🙂
I will create the account for you, Danni. Where can I send the login and password to you?

In reply to: Home page on Pilot FishHi, Danni.
Exactly. It would be good to switch the “previous” and “next”, so that most people from West could find it reading-friendly.
I do not know if your statistics shows more downloads (and usage) of your template on East or West. So you do what you find best for your public. 😉By the way, did you get the issue with the logo header and the “think/design/develop” pictures and texts? I simply lose them if I add an image to the header.
Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Home page on Pilot FishBy the way, the “previous” and “next” buttons are correct for the Eastern standards (right to left) but it is opposite for the Western standards (left to right). In case you wish to make it western-friendly 😉

In reply to: Home page on Pilot FishAh, in fact, I liked the pictures. That was not an issue. 😉
My problem was when I changed the blog title to be shown as an image in the header.
Where it now shows in blue, I wanted to exchange for an image.
I did that, but the logo image made the “think/design/develop” pictures and texts be gone. 🙁I do not know why.

In reply to: Home page on Pilot FishThank you very much Danni! 😉
Quite simple and easy to do. Like it should be expected from a thinker developer. 😉Just one thing though.
I had issues with the three icon images with the short texts under them (which I customized for portuguese and for a text of my own) on the home page, when I tried to add an image for my logo, instead of the text.
They disappeared and I did not seem to find a way to bring them back. 🙁I am using your pilot fish theme on http://www.ludieducandi.com.br
Best regards 😀 Thank you very much once again

In reply to: Home page on Pilot FishHello Danni.
I do not seem to have get hold of the features configurations settings.
Care to help me to understand how do I get a page with a portfolio just like you had on the preview page and like it is set on your personal page?Besides, I do not seem to find any tutorial for any of the features. Care to give a summary?
Thank you very much
By the way, here is how you read the config.php file, as it is in the editor section of wordpress dashboard:
But I am showing much more than the place I did changes at, what is only the first line, under <?php
