Question 1 has been resolved, it was something to do with the user capabilities. Thank You.

Question 2: At the event Page “Publish” Section, it doesn’t allow me to change a private event to a public event, vice versa. After changing the “private” to “public” and i hit update and publish. It will then automatically changed back to “Private”. I can only change the visibility through quick edit for some reason.
