Hi there,
Thank you for your reply.
This mostly makes sense as you are correct – the site was built on a staging site and then pushed across to a different domain, where it is now hosted.
I have attempted to follow your recommendation however it does not appear to work. I have tried the following things, all of which fail:
(1) Deleting and then re-typing the exact same Click-to-Tweet in the exact same element on the page (eg.[bctt tweet=”An Airbnb host renting out a full two bedroom apartment / house in a major US city can expect to earn an average annual profit of $20,619.” username=”padlifter”])
(2) Creating a new text box element in a different place on the page and then typing the EXACT same Click-to-Tweet in that new text box element (eg. [bctt tweet=”An Airbnb host renting out a full two bedroom apartment / house in a major US city can expect to earn an average annual profit of $20,619.” username=”padlifter”])
(3) Creating a new text box element in a different place on the page and then typing a DIFFERENT Click-to-Tweet in that new text box element (eg. [bctt tweet=”test” username=”padlifter”])
None of these work, as all of them continue to display the broken short URL (https://wp.me/P9nmz4-5mL) from the previous staging site (and not creating a new short URL).
Please can you advise how I am able to have it create a new short URL whenever I create a new Click-to-Tweet.
Thanks,
EvianHi Ben,
Sorry about the broken link.
Please check here: https://padlifter-directory.com/tips-and-resources/checkout-cleaning-and-turnover/what-needs-to-be-cleaned-with-each-turnover/ (middle of page under “One Little Trick…”).
I’m not sure why the font changed to the basic default it is now, but this happened one day overnight without making any changes to it.
Thanks,
EvianHi there,
Just wanted to follow-up and see if there was an answer to my question.
Thanks,
EvianHi there,
I have de-activated all non-UM plugins and the same issue remains.

Evian
