I’m doing it as a service. I make a local WP install and load the group into that and then export the board which you can import.
The users come as a CSV file which can be imported also.

It has a 14 day free trial which will give ample time to download this group.

Yahoo groups is failing. Many people wish to move their groups away from Yahoo but the feature that they need is the listserv. Which WP does not offer.
Obviously, they also need forum functionality so any listserv needs to work with, realistically, bbPress.
This is a MASSIVE market with thousands of potential users.

I tried your change to featured-content.php
Its not working for me but there are any number of reasons why this might be (I’m using Xammp, I’m using a child theme, Not all my pages have featured images yet, the images are > 750px wide).
I’ll fix all these issues but specific to your mod, I read that to make the slider work with posts, when you’re on the “edit post” page, you also need to choose the ‘Featured’ option in the “Location” menu.
Pages do not have a “Location” menu. Did you override this requirement with your mod or in some other way?
