I have the exact same error code and have version 3.1.3-what is the simple fix for this. I cannot work on my widgets now. Thank you.
Hello Cais: thank you for your reply. While waiting for it, I went to work on the issue. To make a long story short, it had to be a plugin conflict which it proved to be. I took the opportunity to delete bloat plugins (including the infamous W3C cache) and to deactivate plugins one at a time. I found the conflicting plugin to be: “Call Now Button” Version 0.3.1 | By Jerry Rietveld.” I had not detected a prior conflict, but once removed the site stabilized, NGG operated as it should and even seemed to allow features that were not working that I had given up on. For this site I am using the flycase WordPress theme and there seem to be no conflicts between it and NGG. We are back in business and once again, thank you for your response.

I replied to the email with the link to this forum along with an offer to provide the WP login and the theme files. I did not received a reply from you.
Regrettably, this is a circular conversation with no actual help or resolution. I have explained in complete detail what the issue is several times and I have completed your bug report.
Whether a theme or plugin issue, without the developers actually looking at the issue, there really is not hope for a solve with either. It appears either or both have a code error/conflict with the WordPress core code.
What I am going to do now is continue to work on this problem and test other gallery plugins for function and conflict and go from there.
I suggest it is not good humanity or business practice to tell people you will help them and not to do so. It is a waste of time and hope and ultimately results in people leaving.

It is known that nextGEN does have conflicts with some themes. Regardless, you said you were going to help. Are you going to help or just dance?

The bottom line here is that there is an issue. I have asked for help and not received it. In testing this issue, I have run the flycase theme without nextGEN and there is no problem. That is a plugin conflict. Everyone in the WordPress community would agree with that.
With respect, I have told you this issue a number of times. I have outlined the problem here. I have submitted a bug report. I have sent email directly to you. You have said you would help but thus far, you haven’t. That is the bottom line isn’t it?
I cant go on reminding you of things I’ve sent. What this requires is a look at the site, the plugin, the code. Anything less doesn’t resolve this and wastes everyone’s time. It just goes around in a circle.
I appreciate how you speak but I also simply need the help.

ErikI don’t know what to do at this point. I may just have to get rid of nextGEN as I cannot seem to get a solution and I cannot in good conscience have a website running with obvious page errors.
Per the commonly accepted method of testing WordPress plugin conflicts, nexGEN breaks my theme: turn off nextGEN and the error stops-plain and simple. The theme develop says its nextGEN, nextGEN says its the theme-going around in circles.

– I have received an email from Cais saying he doesn’t quite remember this conversation. I’ve provided the link back here and offered to provide access to my site and the theme files- no reply.Does anyone have experience with this issue and a solve?

The developer, without any effort to check this out and even considering the fact that I told them that when I deactivated their theme and activated one of WordPress default themes and the problem went away has refused to help saying it is a third party plugin issue and they will not help.
The theme is flycase by Brutal Designs. It is found in themeforest. Yes, I purchased this theme.
I need your help please. I have tried to find this issue using firebug and cannot find it. I have all the theme files and can make my site and its admin available to you if you would be so kind as to help.

As I feared, I am in the middle of a theme developer who says its the plugin’s fault and the plugin developer who says it’s the theme’s fault. Result: no one will help me solve this issue. We are all supposed to be on the same team and both plugin and theme are third party to the WordPress core. Should we not be focused on solving instead of defending positions?
If neither developer is willing to help, what can I do? Get rid of the theme? Get rid of NEXTGEN? I am committed to both.
Can you tell me how to find the css or jquery snippet(s) that may be causing this? How do I debug and move ahead without error?

ErikHi: thank you for your reply. Yes, I did switch over to one of the default WordPress themes and the problems do not occur. I understand that NEXTGEN has conflicts with some themes. I have concurrently brought this to the theme developers (awaiting reply) but as I’m sure you might understand it is doubtful to hear that the theme developer will provide a fix on their side for a plugin conflict.
So I am between a rock and a hard place here. I need your help please. I have hundreds of pictures committed to NEXTGEN. I need a solve for this or a method to a solve.
