Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Bluehost migration problemsSee, thats my point. This website was working fine for 7 years. Suddenly it has stopped working. What has suddenly happened other than migration to Bluehost. If theses processes are indeed the culprit, then why didn’t they cause any problems till now. And till now, site health never listed any grave concerns that can shut down website or lead to enormouse loading time.
In my long post, I mentioned a lot of things but you just picked one of them. My point here is that bluehost is a shared services host (in my case). If bluehost is giving me trouble, then previous shared services too should have given trouble. Right now, my website simply does not open. What am I suppose to do with it?
“The fact that it ran smoothly with your previous host is probably due to their carelessness in dealing with customer projects. Bluehost makes sure that they run efficiently and, in such cases, points out exactly such problems.” What does it this mean exactly? That everybody (me, previous shared services provider) are incompetent.
I am looking for solutions for my problems and not interested in anything else.
Hi,
If go to page https://exaattogroup.com/about-us/#team and then select Corporate Information from Navbar, then ideally it should go up to Corporate Information title text from team, however it only scrolls up to middle of the section and not to the exact location of anchor text. Screenshot attached – https://prnt.sc/mhwolj
Hi,
Navbar for mobile worked fine.
For the first part, can you also help with the fix for anchor links in mobile website.
Thanks
Hi Abhishek,
For the first part, I checked again after clearing the cache and sub-menu item are still in white colour with white background. They are “Anchor links” and behaving differently in mobile version. Also, they are pointing to the top of page when the link is placed on another page. This is working fine on desktop version of website
For the second query, yes I would like to have CSS something like that.
Thanks
Hi,
I tried it but unfortunately it didn’t work
Thanks

Thanks for the help. It worked perfectly !
I have a tiny issue with anchor link. As multiple anchor links point to different sections but to same URL and they are all stacked up at header menu, so when any of the anchor link is active (link is highlighted in red), other anchor links too are shown as active (instead of black and white colour scheme).
Is there any workaround for it?
Thanks
I have placed anchor linked URL on https://exaattogroup.com at the section “What we Offer” (Service settings section under “Homepage section settings”) for the heading “Advisory”. The URL placed is https://exaattogroup.com/what-we-do/#advisory. The anchor link is placed on page “What we do” above the heading “Advisory and Consulting”. The anchor link id is “advisory”.
Please let me know if you need any other information
Hi Imraj,
Tried it but unfortunately did not work.
I searched and found out that the parent style has a dependency on bootstrap.css. After i added the dependency in functions.php, it worked out fine.
Thanks for your time and effort. I really appreciate it !!!
Tried clearing cookies and browser cache but problem still persists.
Font size decreases whenever i activate child theme. I checked from a different system as well
