Yes, I already have the same site running on two completely different webservers:
Same problem comes up on both servers.
It doesn’t seem to re-create the table en_bookings_table though, it never came back after re-install. Any more ideas?
Yes, I have tried to both delete them and empty them, deleted the plugin totally and reinstalled. With and without setting back the version to 5.39.
No luck, same problem… =(
I tried that now on the test site, but I can’t see any relevant error messages?
Okay, I tried that too. Deactivated and removed all files, searched for the plugin again and made a fresh install. The reinstall went fine but… the problem remains :/
Yes, the plugin gets updated through the network page. We are running the latest version of WordPress, 3.6. This problem existed before we upgraded WP though.
I couldn’t update the version number from options.php because the value I entered wasn’t saved when I hit save. So I went directly into the database and changed the value there instead in all three instances.
This actually made the plugin announce for update. I did the update and it went through, but the problem still remains.
I have DEV-mode on under /network and it works, so no I have basically reinstalled 5.4.4.3 successfully, but the “event could not be saved”-problem remains.
I also deactivated all other plugins before I did this.
I had 5.4.4, and I changed to 5.39 in all three /options.php
(“/wp-admin/options.php, “/en/wp-admin/options.php” and “/dk/wp-admin/options.php”) All three sub-blog admins.
On the network page it still shows 5.4.4 though and there is no update available.
The plugin is up to date and the WordPress version is updated to 3.6. Still no difference.
I also tried setting the version number down to 3.9 in /options.php (dbem_version) in all sub-blogs, but that only made all plugins disappear in in the plugins section. (They are still installed and working though). This was made in the test site though so no worries.
Even though I set down the version number I still can’t upgrade it from the network page. It says the plugin is up-to-date, but it doesn’t work.
Thanks for your reply! Okay, I activated the dev downloads and installed it now on a dev version, but the problem remains:
The upgrade went successfully without any errors.
By the way, the installation is running wp multi.
I tried to find the dev version setting, but I can’t find it in the place described. The only tabs I have under Events / Settings / General are “General options”, “User capabilities”, “Event submission forms” and “Performance optimization”. I can’t find anything like “Admin tools” or “Dev versions” there? Maybe it’s because the installation is running multi?
