found the information and solved issue myself
for anyone that is reading this and has the same problem, here’s the solution
it turns out my host(000webhost was not allowing access to timthumb.php)
in ureeka replace timthumb.php with this version

you have to do a quick sign up, but other than that everything is good.
oh yeah,
i also tried changing file permissions, reinstalling the theme, trying different images…
the images display normally on a normal post but when trying to do the book thing it doesn’t work
