    Hi @codeparrots,

good news! I finally found out the reason of the problem which was indeed related to a misconfiguration on my theme. So, the problem of css is finally fixed!

Concerning the date I have reproduced the error:
Warning: date() expects parameter 2 to be long, string given in /my/path/to/website.com/wp-includes/functions.php on line 106

It occurs if you use a format “j F Y” but not with “j M Y” and (but concerning this I am not really sure) seems it goes in error when the month is set to current month.. But this is something you should try to investigate yourself.

Thank you again for your feedback!

    Hi!

    thanks for your kind feedback.
I think the problem could be just related to my own theme.
I have recently realized there are also some other issues absolutely not related to your plugin.

I will make some extra tests during the evening and will return to you with a feedback.
In case, I will also change my rating on WP Reviews.

    Have nice day 🙂

Hi, I am currently using popup Add-on.

Ah, I forgot to say that this problem normally occurs on page resizing.. When you reload page the icons are correctly placed.

Sorry for my lack of clearness.

    Update **
Concerning the problem with date I will try to report the steps which are generating the issue.

    – I set the wordpress default language to “italian”
    – I create a new announcement
    – I set a date previous to ‘now’ (let’s say 11 Giugno 1996)
    – I save

Result I have an error about expected string parameter for date() function
[I can’t reproduce the error right now so this is approximately what i remember]
and the announcemente is no longer visible on timeline.

    – Then I go back to the announcement edit page
    – I see the date field is set to current date (examp 21 Aprile 2017)
    – I change the value with 11 Jul 1996 and save

At this point the announcement is visible again on timeline.

The problem is I have to retype the date any time I change something on announcement.

If I switch to english instead, no problem anymore.
I think it’s something related the language and the way the date is saved on DB.

    Hi @codeparrots,

    thanks for reply.
Yes, it looks working great because I finally figured out how to temporary fix the all issues mentioned above (and in a ticket on the support forum as well).
Actually the problem with date widget is still there but not visible cause, in order to make it work, I have switched the default WP language to English.
That’s not a big issue, if you don’t mind to use WP with English default language, but it’ll be as soon as your customer will need to use another language.

Concerning the Front (CSS/JS) You should make some test with announcements’ snippets with different length in content (texts and images) because if you have appreciable differences the the divs’ disposition will be f**ked up. If you see the example on my web page (custom theme built on top of Bootstrap) you will notice that all divs’ have more or less the same height… temporary fix as I said before.

Anyway I’m really happy to find your reaction here.
This can be a very good confrontation ground to improve the plugin and finally fix those annoying bugs.
