Oh, I didn’t reallize that, since the stopforumspam-plugin for our old forum software did exactly that 🙂
It would be golden, if you’re able to implement registration checks, too!
It seems that pinging any of the preset ping-sites takes a long time, about 1 min per host. I deactivated them all and now posting takes about 2 sec.
A bit sad, but the only way to keep posting-time acceptable.
