Ok, it works now! Updated my PHP version 🙂
Got the same error:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING
When I replace the backslashes with forwardslashes on
background-manager.php, it proceeded but got an error again
because of the other backslashes found within the plugin files.
