That did not work either, but it was verbose enough to give me a proper error message (3.7 is not).

Turns out that the upload via S3 to GCS only works if the bucket has “fine grained permissions” set instead of “uniform”. Maybe a good idea to add that to some docs.

I upgraded again to 3.7 and that one also works fine with fine-grained permission settings on the bucket.
