In reply to: Flipping update to 3.0.4 has altered my site!!!!once your theme is working well, it’s a good idea to download it, change the name (also in style.css) , upload it and install.
you now have your own theme.
I think we’d all be better off if the WordPress Core updates were completely separate from the theme. A wordpress core update has just meant i have to repeat some edits …

In reply to: Google Reader: No Full Text RSS feed since WordPress 2.8?I’ve looked at the source code of the feeds, and the problem seems to be that the feed is displaying the <description> instead of the <content>.
the complete posts are all in the source code of the feed, but it is set up to only display the shorter description.
this should be easy to fix … 🙂

Isn’t this a simple and basic requirement of any publishing system?
