In reply to: [Fix Alt Text] HTML ErrorHi Steven,
Thanks for getting back to me, I completely understand the delay! It’s happened to me too many times to count, haha! I love the product and it has been completely wonderful to use.
To better help out, the path was as follows:/wp-admin/tools.php?page=fix-alt-text&tab=references
This issue did happen forever ago, so we did whatever we could to troubleshoot it, but now it is no longer an issue, It may have been a longer user session, but after advising them to clear cache, cookies, and swap browsers and not seeing a fix, I was confident it had to have been the user account or something? They went through the same issue connected to home WiFi and work ethernet connection.
It was just very unique and weird, but it hasn’t happened again. It happened to me once as well and disappeared when I tried again the next week. I apologize if this information isn’t helpful, but if you’d like to close this out, that’s understandable!
Hi there,
I didn’t really get a solution I was looking for, but I can close it. I haven’t heard back from Jetpack, but JAWs told me that Aria Labels have priority and it’s something the reader always looks for first, it’s inevitable unless I can turn it off. So we decided to just move forward with not using tiled galleries.
Hi there,
Thanks so much for getting back to me! I will definitely reach out to JAWS and ask more questions regarding that.
The post we had was on a test site and we are close to launching, so we instead made a manual little tiled gallery instead. We noticed after we updated Jetpack to 14.4.1 and it broke some of our posts so I think we might ultimately decide not to use it. Regarding that “i0.wp” issue- everywhere I looked said what you said ““Speed up image load times””. However, we have that setting turned off, we never turned it on to begin with which is why we are at a loss. We noticed the link populates whenever we put images in tiled galleries which was another reason we decided not to continue using that widget.
I have looked into going the classic block route, but we have such a huge staff base, and not much staff on our team to train people on something different (and it was already difficult enough teaching the block editor on Gutenberg for some of our sites).
Thanks,
