In reply to: Missing pictures when insert picture on pageI have the same problem. In the Media Library, all images are there. But ‘Insert Into Post’ only shows about 1/3 of them.
I find all the images in /wp-content/uploads/2014/01 and /wp-content/uploads/2014/02. Why aren’t they on the ‘Insert…’ page?

I’m new at this, but found a kludgy workaround: in your sidebar.php, add a new pair of
<li>…</li>
tags and put the link to the Home page between them. I used HTML (“http:.. etc.”) but you could use PHP.
It’s kludgy because there’s extra space between the other links and the Home link.
You could create a new style for the Home link with a zero or minus value for the<li>margin-top.
