Never mind, I think I solved it. Thank you!
Hi,
I use Menu language switcher. I have attached some screenshots below. I managed to add the english language by adding a post through appearence – customize – menu – menu 2.0 – add items – language switcher – add new post. But when It’s added in the menu there’s no english flag in the header, but I can press on an invisible item that updated the page, but it’s still the same language.
Hi,
Thank you for the assistance. I tried disabling Improved CSS Loading but it didn’t solve the problem, but I found out that the culprit was WP Rocket’s file optimization. It’s strange because I have exactly the same configuration on another website but haven’t had any problems with TranslatePress on that one.
All the best!
Hi,
Thank you for your helpful advice.
Regarding switching to internal printing, is it something that should always be on? And is there a downside to using internal printing?
All the best,
ChrisHi,
Thank you for your prompt response! I deleted the hummingbird-asset folder but that made the theme break. I panicked and created a new folder named hummingbird-assets and deactivated hummingbird. This ended up solving all of my previously mentioned examples.
I haven’t tried activating it again, but it does seem like this was the culprit. In hindsight, maybe it’s a bad idea to optimize (Smush & Hummingbird) your website in a staging environment?
I hope this doesn’t mean that I won’t be able to use Smush & Hummingbird!
All the best,
Chris
