I have the same problem, I am using hustle optin, mailchimp audience is with the double optin disable, in hustel the autometically optin new use is checked, but when I do a subscription test I receive an email from mailchimp to confirm subcription, and is not adding the email to the audience list automatically. I am using astra theme. Please if you could advise. Thank you
