Hi and thanks you for your response. I have not added or changed code, simply because I am unable write code. So whatever happened must have happened during the set up. I have only activated the subscribe/unsubscribe button in the backend. If this issue is a code problem I do not know how to deal with it. With this in mind how can I resolve the issue?
By the way, I don’t understand the comment re. “Free version of Subscribe2”. I did pay for the plugin.
Thank you. I have done as suggested and that now works. But subscribers receive the full text and images of teh post in the email. I would have preferred if only a brief initial paragraph would be submitted in the email with a link to the full post.
Secondly, gthere is a problem with the subscribe/unsubscribe button. When a subscriber clicks on it the following code appears instead of a form:
function custom_ajax_css() {
return „http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jqueryui/1.8.16/themes/ui-lightness/jquery-ui.css“;
}
add_filter(’s2_jqueryui_css‘, ‚custom_ajax_css‘);What is going wrong here?
I also see a field where the subscriber is to enter his email address. I tested this with my own email address. Now I am my first subscriber which can be seen in the list of subscribers in the backend.
Question: I want subscribers to be notified when a new post or page is added to the site. Where on the site do I position the widget? Here the link to the site: http://www.anneundfrederick.de
Okay, Thank you. Have done that. Now I can see both subscribe and unsubscribe buttons. But when clicking on “subscribe” I get to a page with no content. Shouldn’t there be a subscription form?
