Thank you, Thank You, Thank You!!! Fixed and resolved (for now) by a Jedi Knight named Obi-Frank Remmy! For the record, I was using a dummy “Fake Address” for test orders. I used the real address of my relative behind me with a fake phone number and name and…….it zipped right on through as a successful order. In “Orders” under WooCommerce it looks correct and Fantastic! Tax works just fine. Now we are onto several hours of fine tuning the inventory and Categories, which is no sweat at all.
We are so not worthy of your greatness and force abilities, Mr. Frank 🙂
Of course, we marked the reply as resolved 🙂
Already fixed Taxes. Works! Working on the other items you mentioned. Banging my head against the wall on the accepting cash payments in person 🙂 In person payments IS enabled. Here is a loom video screengrab;

UPDATE; it appears adding product(s) to cart works, and clicking on CART or CHECKOUT takes you there as you would expect. Cannot figure out why it will not offer pay in person at checkout even though it is clearly selected in the Loom video. We also currently do not really want or need customers to register to be members of the website/business. Maybe that helps?

WOO HOO (as in WOOOOOCommmerce) we gotz decimals in defined step-ups and step-downs of 0.25, and they work well! WPC Product Quantity for WooCommerce Even the free version is an awesome plugin, and the pro version ( which allows setting decimal rules for both global pricing and individual item pricing ) is only a one-time $29.00 / Happy Happy Joy Joy / And yes we are at work cleaning things up and getting rid of plugins that we no longer need. Super happy with this community and the super friendly helpful folks on here!
Staging Plugin installed. Trying to figure it out now……
75% Solved! The bizarre quantity behavior was due to the plugin; ATUM Inventory Management for WooCommerce (deativated and uninstalled)
Now we just need to get the quantity to correctly allow fractions OR decimals in the amount of .25 or 1/4. Working on getting the staging plugin installed and ready as requested from above this reply……
THIS is what we probably should have posted as the main text of the thread;
I own a small brick and mortar Fabric and Sewing Goods Store, and am building a WooCommerce website. All of my current inventory is currently entered into woocommerce products, and thus each product has its’ own page and I am mostly satisfied with the look and feel on the front end. (It is currently not live or advertised)
I am looking to sell some of the products as a whole (eg: needles/thread); however, I need to be able to sell other products in 1/4 yard increments.
The product page should allow the customer to click the ‘+’ and ‘-‘ button to add or subtract quantity of items as a whole (like 3 packs of needles), but for fabric be able to click the same buttons and have the amount change in increments of 0.25 of a yard, ending up with like 2 3/4 or 2.75 AND showing the correct price based on the quantity they selected; NOT the current 1.01 or 1.56
I have tried multiple other free AND paid plug-ins and cannot afford to keep purchasing plug-ins that do not function as I need them to. “

Thank you for your attention. This product page is just like all the others currently in inventory. It does sell fabric and we sell it by the yard (in increments of 1/4 yard). We would ultimately like people to be able to choose quantity for checkout in increments of 1/4 yard. Plugins we have tried to set it that way have all failed so far. The best one so far is linked below this sentence, that allows you to set attributes allowing sale by YARD length BUT does not fix the bizzarre decimal situation. https://woocommerce.com/document/measurement-price-calculator/ We have disabled all Measurement Price Plugins just trying to get woocommerce to natively allow the buyer to just choose for example 2 1/4 yards. That has not worked either. Since we initially posted this request, we have removed the addition to the page title that states “(Sold by the 1/4 yard)”
Again. Thank you so very much for your attention.
