It’s fixed, I don’t quite know why or how, but I tried re-creating the pages again and now thelinks resolve to their correct address’.

You are right, it was the text browser setting. The other sites I had looked at didn’t seem to be affected by changing that setting, but my blog most definitely was.

I persevered and think I have it fixed, seems my file paths had got messed up somehow.
