    Hi again, the slider seems to work now- I had to assign the relevant post and it appeared, although I didn’t activate the slider extension. It must be a different one?

    I’m thinking of getting the Premium version once I’ve had time to test it all, including these two points;

    1. The alignment of the slider text is to the left – not quite central. Is this an easy fix. I’m using the TagDiv newspaper theme.

    2. Will the full version have the ability to change the fonts (including Google fonts) to match my main site?

    Thanks.

    Ok please disregard this. I seem to have rectified it by turning the page cache ‘enabled’ box off and on again (that old cliche huh).
    It works again for now and will hopefully stay fine. As long as disabling something even temporarily helps fix issues then I can sleep easy at night.

    Thanks Frederick for a wonderful plugin.

    Sorry the sidebar hasn’t disappeared, it’s just swtiched positions with the footer, scratching my head as to why.

    Nice, although as you’re probable aware the central drop downs are a little too dark at least on my screen, but I get you are trying to keep them low profile. It takes the mouse hover to be able to see the text links, which could get tedious after a while.

    Hi all,

    Shirley – thanks for that, much appreciated! I try to update only when there is something of depth and quality to write about (with exception of the free MP3s). So my output isn’t prolific as others – is this something that will keep me in good stead in the future, well I hope so…quality over content.

    I aim to get 4-5 articles out a week while I’m also running my graphic design business (eats up looots of time) but plan on upping that to 1-2 posts a day.

    FECKcorp, appreciated aswell. I have tweaked a few subtle areas like header size / copyright footer / comments and toyed with Google fonts and page specific sidebars but reverted quickly.

    The thing is this theme matched what I wanted straight out of the box- magazine style with Black, white, grey and red, clean fonts and lots of customization just in case. We’ll see.

    This is great! I echo what others have said, that it should be used in moderation, but I’d love to get myself that retro TV style going on for my Retro Corner features on http://www.firesnake.com.

    I’d have to check speeds across the board but as mentalist3D said- it’s something that will be used as an everyday feature once broadband speeds are consistently high.

    So when are we able to get hold of these?

    Really nice. Clean, simple and elegant- so it suits this fashion label well. Not too cluttered with unnecessary add-ons so it strikes the right balance and lets you focus on the content. Good use of imagery on the front aswell.

    I’ve looked through it all and have not found any bugs although the google search brings up the following which you should take a look at;

    Good work

    Thank you for creating the site!
    Spanish food is something I do keep an eye out for, so I should visit this regularly. On that note, some kind of RSS or twitter feed would be great to have available aswell as the newsletter.

    For me it’s almost perfect as it’s not bursting with content which keeps it easy to navigate. Simple is best for something like this.

    I love the wooden background and the torn / tatty paper and clipped photos- nice touches.
