So I could change server host registration (I think it takes like 10-14 days), then build the files as a WP subdirectory of the current site? Can I make WP subdirectory files for a site that is not currently supported by WP?

How can I use another domain name without having to purchase another domain name?
I have also heard a lot about subdirectories. Would it be possible to change the registration of the website to the new host, then create the new website pages supported by WordPress as subdirectories of the current non-WordPress website? As I say I don’t really know what subdirectories are, only I’ve heard the name thrown around a lot in terms of rebuilding websites.
