The notice you’re seeing — “The plugin educare/educare.php has been deactivated due to an error: Plugin file does not exist” — appears because we renamed the main plugin file from Educare.php to educare.php (lowercase). This is a harmless issue, and you can simply ignore the notice.

Just go to your WordPress plugins page and reactivate the plugin manually. Your data and settings remain intact.

Regarding your issue after updating to v1.6.0, we strongly recommend restoring your backup data if you have one. If you don’t have a backup and are facing a critical error, we can assist you in troubleshooting the issue.

If you uninstall and reinstall the plugin, the existing data should not be deleted, as it is stored in the database. However, we recommend taking a complete backup before proceeding, just to be safe.

Here is the possible solutions for your issue:

1. make sure you have disable auto results system from Educare > Settings
2. In the premium version. Each fields have auto and manual results options. So, if you are using premium version. Also check it out this individual fields.
3. Make sure you have accurately add grading system marks terms in the Educare > Settings > Grading system

Note:

If none of these solutions resolve the issue, please try deactivating Educare, reinstalling it, and then reactivating it. Once reactivated, test it with the default settings and configuration.

before deactivate and remove Educare make sure Clear data is enabled in Educare Settings > Advance settings

We will investigate this issue and address it in the upcoming updates. Rest assured, we’ll notify you once it’s resolved.

For now, you can reset the Educare settings or deactivate Educare, remove it from the WordPress Dashboard > Plugin list, then reinstall Educare and check.

Note: Before doing this, please take a backup if you have added any data previously, as this action will remove Educare data.
