I had the same problem.
It was caused by the PayPal Plus Plugin by Inpsyde.
Changed back to PayPal Checkout Gateway and it works.
Now i got the problem that we need to use the new PayPal Plus Plugin to get better conditons with PayPal….
But PW Gift Cards works like a charm 😀

we had problems after the update too. Whenever a big amount (above 20) of one product was added to the cart it resulted in an empty page. One digit amounts never failed…
