In reply to: Automatic Upgrade not workingI just got mine to work after getting the same problem. Not sure which of these two things did it but I changed my permissions on that file to 777 and also deleted the previous upgrade folder (because I noticed it still said 2.8.3).

In reply to: WP2.7.1 errorI’m having this same problem. My first two are just like yours and the third says “Could not copy file: /home/path/public_html/path/wp-cron.php”
No permission problems with my host though. The last automatic upgrade was not problematic.
