In reply to: 502 errors with some actions on fronted and dashboardThanks sinip… I passed along the note to my host folks (I was unable to login to the back end (ftp or cpanel stuff) and apparently they found and fixed something… all goood now. No idea what happened or why though.

Hi Sinip, no I do not have access tot eh error logs, or more to the point, not sure where to look for them? Is it in the WP dashboard area?

In reply to: 502 errors with some actions on fronted and dashboardThanks t-p, I agree it is likely a server issue, yet they are saying everything looks fine on their end (not sure how to direct them on where to look)
I’ve cleared and cleared cache, cookies, etc. Different browsers, different computers, even received a few emails from site visitors letting me know about the 502 errors they are seeing…
Any suggestions on what to look for or check on the server? I don’t have access and the host support doesn’t seem to know what to look for….

Had the thought to remove the Mars event from the calendar as that event was months ago. Should know if it’s working shortly after the hour.

Hi Benjamin,
Sucuri send me an alert when something happens on the site, like a login attempt, a post publishing or a core file being modified.
The Mars bit is imported from a google calendar.
I was looking for a setting on how often the time.ly plugin checks the feeds, and not finding that… assuming every hour?
There are many other events on the google calendar, yet the Mars one is it’s favorite I suppose as it’s published twice every hour.

In reply to: [WolframCDF] WolframCDF stopped working no errorChecking for plugin conflicts found that the WolframCDF and Goggle Analytics for WordPress by Yeost do not play well together. Not sure why or how, nor know enough to continue the troubleshooting to find out.
Would really like both to be running – any suggestions or ideas to make this work?

Followed the directions and the repair worked – removed -old and -hold and removed permit repair line from config and all is well.

The source has about 50 posts (nomtbf.com is a ww.wp.xz.cn site) Also have the same issue with the same code pointing to creprep.wordpress.com which also has about 50 posts.

From what I understand the display sets the number of posts in the feed to appear.
Is there something on the wordpress source site to set that would remove the limit of 10 posts?
