    Yes, of course!

    The problem is that the navigation arrows (in the code the ID of the navigation is ‘nav-below’) still don’t show up on the left or right of the screen. After DMBarber’s help the 10 circles that showed up before I changed anything seemed to have repeated themselves below their original position. The effect can be found here.

    What I’m trying to do is to be able to navigate through multiple sub-pages containing the circles that we all love in Spun. This, however, is not the homepage. Everything works fine on the homepage, but not on the page that I want to give the same functionality (link). The circles on the page are not ordinary posts but ‘custom-circles’ created by using your guide (found here).

    I hope that helps!

    Has anyone been able to fix this problem?

    Sorry for my late response, I only just now found the time to implement this.

    I unfortunately have to say that it didn’t work. The result can be found here: link

    It seems like its repeating the circles that are already there.
    Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance!

    The page I’m talking about it this one: link

    On that page I have more than 10 posts (which are actually not regular posts but custom-circles, created by using this guide: link.

    As you can see no navigation appears to go to the next set of posts (or custom-circles) although I already have more than 10 posts (13 to be exact).

    Of course!

    On the homepage of Spun themed webpages arrows appear on the left and right (when there are more than 10 posts) to navigate through pages of the various posts. These pages result in /page/n/ (where n is the page number) after the url of the websites homepage. The second page for example would contain posts 11-20 (or 11 to whatever the amount of posts is if there are less than 20 posts).

    I hope this helps!
    Thanks in advance.

    Try setting the padding-top of the main-navigation class in the css of your website.
    For example:

    .main-navigation {
    padding-top: 75px;
    }

    I guess I’ll post a new thread as well on my navigation issue.

    Sorry for not getting back to you for so long but only now I found the time to continue constructing the website.

    I agree with you on everything so I went ahead and implemented everything. It worked. Thanks!

    But it would be too easy if there weren’t anymore problems along the way, right? These are the problems I’m facing right now:

    1. I can’t seem to get the navigation arrows on the left and right to appear on this page. This way I can only view 10 of the latest custom circles.
    2. I can’t get the page to show 5 circles in a row instead of the 4 it’s showing now.
    3. The opacity transition effect on the custom circles on which I attached images on creation is gone and I can’t seem to get it back.

    And I found a possible bug:
    When attaching a picture to a custom circle on another moment than the moment of creation the classes attached to the object stay the same, so these circles still have the .no-thumbnail class attached to them. I know I can work around it but it would make life a little easier if this wasn’t the case. (For some reason these circles seem to behave as they should [although the opacity is 0.2, like circles without pictures attached to them, instead of the 0.8 that circles with images attached to them on the homepage]).

    I hope you can help me with these problems (especially the main 3).

    Thanks in advance!

    Well, I already tried making a Child Theme yesterday and it didn’t give me the results I wanted so I figured I was doing something wrong. Therefore I searched the internet again today on how to create a Child Theme and on a page I found they said to copy the original theme css to the Child’s folder, which is what I did.

    Isn’t it basically the same thing except for that it uses more storage space?

    Great! Thanks for your help so far, I really appreciate it!

    After fiddling with the css a bit I ran into more problems (yay) as you can see at the page.

    1. the images in the circles don’t resize themselves. This works just like it should on the homepage.
    2. the transition hover effect (transparancy change on mouse-over) is gone on circles with images in them.

    After creating a lot more circles (I now got 13 in total) to see how the page handles them I noticed the following behaviour:

    – Although I got 13 ‘custom-circles’ it only shows the latest 10. All others are hidden. No arrows appear with which you can flip pages nor do the missing circles appear below the others (both of which I would find acceptable behaviour).
    – Only 4 circles are placed in a row.

    What am I doing wrong?

    Woops, I misread the guide thinking that setting up the Child Theme was part of the steps I should skip. I believe I got that bit sorted now, but the problem still seems to be occuring in the same way.

    Thanks for your response! However I’m quite new to wordpress…

    How would I go about applying this template? (I did all the steps you suggested (so the whole guide except for steps 6-1 to 4)

    Edit: I believe I made some of it work. However, the circles turn out to be elipses when there is no featured image and when there is a featured image the ‘circle’ just displays the fullres image (rectengular in shape).

    To make it easier for you to review the matter here is the link to the page I’m trying to edit.

    Any chance you know how to get it right?
