Hi Jordy,
I have installed v5.0.6. It works much better now, not soliciting the CPU so much.
I can again rename a file manually from the List view now. It takes ~20 secs, more or less what it was in the past.
Thank you for fixing the issue rapidly.Precision: I am able to rename from the Edit Media page but not from the Media Library page.
I am having exactly the same problem. I used to display 300 images at the same time and with this setting I can’t even display the library in list view. I have reduced it to 100 images, it’s a bit better but it takes a while to display the page.
And on top of it I can’t even rename a single image manually. It goes into an infinite loop, no error message.I’m using the latest version of the plugin, pro version, with WP 5.5.1. I have not uploaded any image since February.

In reply to: Wordfence incompatible with local test environment managed by DesktopServerPrecision: I removed all wf tables from the database and made a fresh install of wordfence. Impossible to activate it in Desktopserver environment.
Thanks for the feedback. I have ignored these alerts in the setups but still receive emails.
Could the reason be that I upload images directly from Lightroom using an extension?I have cleared all blocked IPs and wp-cron is running well now. I don’t know which IP was responsible and how it got blocked (I never permanently block IPs which haven’t been blocked by wf initially) but the most important is that the issue is resolved.
A big thank you for your support!!!Thanks for all the time you spend investigating this issue. I’m glad to help. I am sending you 2 emails, one with a screenshot that shows the error message, the other with the wordfence diags.
Yes the problem persists with the firewall in learning mode or even disabled.
There are many tasks which are not executed:
– wordfence_daily_cron
– wordfence_hourly_cron
– newsletter (5 min frequency)
– newsletter_reports_country (5 min frequency)
– jetpack_clean_nonces (hourly)
That’s for the time being. Now I have also set-up a cron task with the mechanism proposed by my hosting company. It runs every hour and launches the wp-cron.php file. Apparently this allows all the pending tasks to run. After that, tasks start piling-up again until the next run. I visit the site in the meantime which means that Wordfence prevents wp-cron from running when users visit the website.
I have reactivated Wordfence. There is an immediate issue detected by plugin WP Crontrol, it reports this error: “There was a problem spawning a call to the WP-Cron system on your site. This means WP-Cron events on your site may not work. The problem was:Unexpected HTTP response code: 503”.
I did exactly what you suggested above with a new window in firefox and console opened. This is what I see in the Network tab of the console:
GET http://www.fondaphotos.com/wp-cron.php [HTTP/1.1 200 OK 340 ms]Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Timeline Express] Some Images Don't DisplayInteresting, I have a similar issue but only with Firefox. It works well with other browsers.

Problem fixed with a new version of the Fidelity theme.
Hi Evan,
Do you think it can explain the JS error?
RegardsHello Evan,
The answer is most likely Yes, this is how I understand the comment from the theme’s author. I cannot say more because I don’t have the technical skills.

Hello Evan,
The author of the Fidelity theme has investigated the issue and here is what he said. “It seems that old Infinite Scroll script is incompatible with new jQuery library that comes with WordPress 4.3 as core asset.”
I need to wait for the next release and see if it solves the problem with the timeline.
