Thanks Sergey for the idea for a work around.
I have already implemented force strong passwords however I was really wanting the user not to ebe able to create it themselves. I was hoping WordPress could send a auto generated password like it has done previously

Thanks Tara – I can see the feature in action. What Im wanting to do is to find a way around this new feature and revert back to how it used to function

Thanks Robert for replying directly to me. The solution uses cookies for this. Just need to enable the guest user feature.
