How do restrict a page for all user roles? As I understand it, I can allow certain role to have access to a page by ticking the associated box in the access settings.
By default, those that are unchecked will not have access. If leave all the user role boxes unchecked, does that mean that no-one will have access except admin?
I have tested this and it does not work – if I set access to logged-in users only with all boxes unchecked all user roles have access to the page as per my test.
Can you please advise?
Kind regards
Francois WesselsApologies for the second thread but maybe this can help – WordPress sent this e-mail to me with the following:
===============
Since WordPress 5.2 there is a built-in feature that detects when a plugin or theme causes a fatal error on your site, and notifies you with this automated email. In this case, WordPress caught an error with one of your plugins, Ultimate Member.
First, visit your website (http://cpsacademy.co.za/) and check for any visible issues. Next, visit the page where the error was caught (http://cpsacademy.co.za/wp-admin/nav-menus.php) and check for any visible issues.
================I reverted to the default 2020 theme and the problem still persists.
Thanks Francois Wessels
Just further to the above – what I also meant to say is that all other users are available for me to give access except administrator. How do I give only an admin access to a specific page?
Thanks Francois Wessels
Hi there,
When your plugin is not activated and we have setup ZAR as default only Payfast is available.
Paypal is not available since ZAR is not a Paypal currency. When I set the default currency to USD, Paypal’s settings is available for me to change.
Is the function of your plugin not to enable more that one currency? Meaning that when I have setup your plugin I should have bot Payfast’s settings and Paypal’s settings available to me.
Hope this makes sense…
Kind regards
FrancoisHi there,
Thank you for the quick response. I am a bit confused here.
When I activate your plugin I can add which currencies my store will accept?
We want to accept two currencies, ZAR for South Africa and USD. Default currency of the store is ZAR. If I set the default currency of the store to USD, I can access the Paypal settings. If I set the default currency to ZAR and activate your plugin I cannot access Paypal’s settings?
How do I then configure the Payment gateway with your plugin activated?
Kind regards

In reply to: [Force Login] Verification in WordPress MultisiteHi there,
Thanks for the reply – we use nothing strange here… WordPress Multisite, BuddyPress, BBPress. Registration was done from the standard WP registration screen on the back end.
So Standard WP functionality. I will try method 4 to see if that fixes it.
Kind regards

In reply to: [Easy Theme and Plugin Upgrades] Multisite compatible?Hi Chris,
Thank you very much for the reply, sorry I missed it initially 🙁
Do I understand correctly that whilst I would network activate the plugin all plugin updates will be performed from network admin and not on individual sites themselves?

In reply to: [Custom Post Type UI] syntax error, unexpected end of fileHi Michael,
Thanks for getting back to us – we are using Divi so I think the logo will be in header.php…
Would that help in pin pointing an error?

In reply to: [BuddyPress for LearnDash] Learndash courses not showing in coursesHi there again…
Just updating this thread with results as we test… hope that is OK?
When logged in as super admin (on multisite) the issue presents itself… When logged in as normal subscriber/student this issue does not present itself and works as expected…
Don’t know if this can be a multisite issue?
Kind regards

In reply to: [Force Login] Whitelisting WooCommerceHi Kevin,
This is great, thank you very much!
Just one question, would this work storewide or would I have to implement it on a per order basis?
Kind regards
