Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Guard Dog] Frontend Support for passkeysEssentially I’m using three plugins on my site.
1. “Frontend Admin” to create/edit Forms from the frontend
2. “Simple Membership” for membership functionality, including a custom login form (username/password)
3. “wp-webauthn” for creation, logon and managing passkeys
Unfortunately, the wp-webauthn plugin is no longer available due to security issues https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/wp-webauthn/ and it seems that the plugin is outdated (last updated one year ago).
I tested several passkey plugins (there are only just a few of them). The wp-webauthn plugin is the only one that meets my requirements:
1. the “Simple Membership” plugin recognizes the logon over the passkey plugin
2. the passkey plugin provides support from the frontend like a Gutenberg block or a shortcode as I mentioned above (shortcode or widget for Elementor would be nice to have, but not necessary)If you are interested, I have reduced my original site to reflect the essentials and translated it from german as my native language to englisch. Additionally I could grant you administrator access to it’s backend. Could you provide your private e-mail for further information and discussion.
Thanks in advance
Kind Regards, Frank
