Just a note, this solution doesn’t work if you’re using the development version of WordPress SEO.
I’m having the exact same issue like many others using WordPress SEO and Nextgen Gallery plugins together.
Hi I’ve tested your development version and looks like it’s not parsing images anymore. I used to have empty <image:loc> tags now I don’t have <image:loc> tags at all. Is this how it’s supposed to be?

Upgraded to version 1.2.4. Problem is still there. All image:loc tags are empty for nextgen gallery images.
@joost, I’ve tested the development version and I can also confirm that the problem still persist. Thank you very much for a great plugin and for your hard work!
