Thanks again Mark / t31os, that’s great however, as I said, I really need something that will sort these posts out so that rather than having a sidebar widget it is actually providing the front page with content that’s essentially the most viewed. And furthermore is ‘reset’ if you like every day so that the content remains ‘fresh’ daily. I’m not sure these plugins can do that?

And just wondered if these are on the right lines to achieving what I’m looking for. In all honesty, I’m relatively new to all this so a heads up on the capabilities of these plug-ins would help greatly.
Plus I don’t suppose I’m the first to have thought that posts by popularity is the way to pleasing my readers?
