In reply to: Comment LinkComments are allowed on the site. However, between the bottom of the article and the comment box, there are a number of features, including sharing buttons and advertisements before you get to the ‘leave a reply’ section.
I would like to create a ‘Comment’ link at the bottom of the actual post that will skip over these other features and bring you to the comment box. My client believes this extra space for scrolling is discouraging people from commenting, so I’m trying to find a solution that will make the comment box more obvious. She is actually suggesting I move the whole comment box higher up beneath the post, but I think creating a link would be simpler and would keep the other features from becoming obsolete beneath a slew of comments.
Other themes have comment links a the top of the article — I’m just wondering how to institute this in mine.

Hi Brandon,
Just wanted to let you know my client says the issue is occurring once again. Same issue.Hi Brandon, I had my client re-try and it seems to be cleared up. Thanks very much for your work! I’ll let you know if it reoccurs.
Thanks for the response Brandon, sorry I didn’t get back to you. So my question now is, if the block is due to GoDaddy, would you expect it to affect all of the Publicize options, rather than just LinkedIn? Currently we’re only having a problem with the one network.

In reply to: [Customizr] Editor background and Circle image sizingYou won that bet! Turned out it was the Jetpack Photon shrinking the images slightly and cutting them off on mouseover.
Thanks very much! The strange editor background image is still going on though, so I’m not sure where that is coming from, but at least that is just on the backend, so I can take a bit more time to solve that one.

In reply to: [Customizr] Editor background and Circle image sizingWell the background issue is definitely not due to the individual WP install, as I have switched themes a few times and it also is having the same issue in both the test install and the live install (completely separate installations, with the issues occurring only under customizr).
I did notice a difference in the .thumb-wrapper code but I can’t figure out the reason for the change since I’ve tried my best to make all my own code input identical.
Here is the code on the problematic site:
img src=”http://i2.wp.com/www.northwoodscenter.org/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/childface-copy.jpg?fit=300%2C300″ class=”attachment-medium wp-post-image” alt=”childface copy”
And here is the code on the functioning site:
img width=”270″ height=”250″ src=”http://www.northwoodscenter.org/webtest/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/childface-copy-270×250.jpg” class=”attachment-tc-thumb wp-post-image” alt=”childface copy”

In reply to: [Pinboard] Major sidebar problemsThanks for the reply hamz – unfortunately putting widgets only in sidebar top and removing them from sidebar right/left hasn’t changed the result.
I did read these threads earlier, but I think my issue is slightly different. In the content/sidebar setting there is no sidebar at all – it appears the same as when you choose the ‘no sidebars’ layout option.
Choosing sidebar/content (left sidebar) or either of the content half options, the sidebar space is visible in the correct place, but none of my widgets will show up – whether I place them only in ‘sidebar top’ or any other slot.
Since I haven’t seen anyone else on the forums run into this problem, I’m wondering if it is an incompatibility with one of my plugins? I may have to test that next.
Anyway – thanks very much for your help hamz!

In reply to: An Unexpected HTTP Error occurred during the API request.I’m having the same problem – I tried the timeout fix to 60 on http.php, no success.
Corner- that link doesn’t seem to be active, is there another source to find out more about how to resolve this?
I’ve seen some people mention servers, but I have two separate WP’s hosted by the same company on different accounts, and one has the problem while the other doesn’t. Any help/information which has been gleaned on this recently would be appreciated.
