Oh geeze, that’s beyond my ability.

    But I appreciate the reply!

Have used the same theme (The 7) and Woocommerce for years. The latest release 3.3.3 created absolute havoc. I don’t know what is wrong, can’t afford to pay a developer to figure it out either.

The only way I can get thelandofcolor.com to load is to disable EVERYTHING Woocommerce. HostGator actually restricted this site and took it down. Disabling Woocommerce solved whatever was wrong so at least my site is back up – but I don’t have a store any more.

On to my other site, campchroma.com. That one always worked well until 3.3.3. Now it’s slow as snot. I just activated Woocommerce recently with only two products. So, I have a feeling that’s why it’s limping along even tho one of the product images will not display no matter what – it just keeps spinning.

And why post here and not in the forum? Because this is my honest review and experience with Woocommerce 3.3.3 and other people need to be aware and beware – you do get what you pay for. My next steps are to try to restore both website prior to the 3.3.3 plugin and database updates.

…does Publicize work for posts that you publish without cloning?

Yes! It works beautifully on new posts. Not sure if you can go back in and edit the Publicize message once created on a NEW post – haven’t tried that.

But, yes, on NEW posts it works which is why I was super double hoping it would work with my cloning process.

Thank you for your response, Ryan. Have a wonderful and safe New Year!!!

    Hi Ryan,

CLONE, not close. 🙂 That was a typo, sorry.

And the plugin I use to clone posts is called “Duplicate Posts” Version 2.6 | By Enrico Battocchi.

It seems like you have one shot to customize the Publicize message and that’s only when the post is brand spankin’ new.

A little about my work flow, if you go to my Swatch Right Color Blog, you can see that all the color inspiration posts are the same. It’s handy to go clone an old post featuring Benjamin Moore paints, for example, and just update it with a new image and info vs. creating a whole new post from the ground up.

If I could get Publicize working, it would be perfect for sharing our weekly color inspiration posts.

    Thanks!!

    Thanks for your reply, Matt.

Unfortunately, entering the UN/PW twice isn’t working for me.

Going back SEVERAL years NO ONE seems to have a good reason why this happens.

I find that totally unacceptable on the part of WordPress and developers of themes and plugins in general.

A gajillion people have had this issue over the course of about THREE YEARS and the best solution offered seems to be to just wait for an update and hope it goes away? It’s truly shocking considering the caliber of code wizardry that I know exists out there.

    Hi Tara,

Thank you for your reply – much appreciated.

Actually, that is the very first thread that popped up in my Google search. Been thru it ten times and tried every single solution suggested — twice.

Still has not resolved the error message.

I can’t be 100% sure but I feel like this happened since the last WordPress update.

Any other suggestions for a solution out there?

Thanks. Posted ‘over there’ and you are right, developer answered quickly.

    Have a great week! 🙂

    Hi Tobias,

With info from tedballantine’s post and yours, it’s looking better. I believe you are right that the extra tags were creating problems.

    Thanks.

    Hi psheld,

HostGator seems to be having trouble this afternoon.

And I think I posted this in the wrong place any way – this should be in the TablePress Plugin forum area. Or does it matter where I post?

I have a very similar issue and am looking for a solution as well.

Setting column width, row height and overall table size seems to be particularly difficult in TablePress; more than one post on this topic in support forum and each seems to have had a different resolution.

Here’s mine. Table too big, columns too wide. http://campchroma.com/color-notation-database/

Can you please tell me exactly where to find the meta description so I can update it?

When I installed plugin, I vaguely remember writing the following as the Meta description for my website:

“The Land of Color is the only destination for expert color strategies. Color for Your Business, Color for Your Home, and Color Know-How for Pro’s. TheLandofColor”

I need to revise the meta description and and I simply can’t find it again – feel like I’ve looked and clicked everywhere.

    Thanks.

I did not intend to give the plugin a 5 star rating but was unable to edit the rating. Maybe I missed how to edit the rating?

Or is that a “support” question that doesn’t belong here either?

And I have no idea what this is supposed to say or mean. “As the author is a aware commercial products are not supported in these forums.”

Thanks. I’ll check into it and see if I can figure it out. If I can’t who can I hire to fix this for me — I really don’t *do* the code thing.

    L.
