In reply to: Tinymce bug ? WP 3.9Do you use Ultimate TinyMCE? If so it will no longer work with 3.9.

In reply to: How to Change Color of Fonts (to non-standard color)? This option was removed by TinyMCE for the new update and the word on the street is that it will not be added back. There are a lot A LOT of people very disappointed about this. Sorry. You will have to hard code it now – use HTML. To see how it was put in before – go to an old post and click the TEXT tab. Then cut and past the HTML code into your new post. It’s very 1994.

In reply to: 3.9 Update Took away text colors and text sizesUnfortunately, the word is that the HEX color picker was removed by TinyMCE permanently. Those of us who used it are all out of luck.
You can purchase one from WP Edit and their pro edition. It’s $35.

In reply to: Text colorsHey theblondemovement –
Well, after much research I think WP Edit will solve at least your fontsize issue. You can get that with the free version and it seems to work.
The color picker issue will only be resolved if WP and TinyMCE reintroduce the HEXA option. For now, if you really need it you have to upgrade to WP Edit pro at $35 because the plugin creator, Josh, had to custom code it. He said he doesn’t know why WP and TinyMCE removed it from version 4. Oy!
Hope this helps at least some of your problem.

In reply to: Text colorsWell, theblondemovement, it looks like according to TinyMCE we have to wait for wordpress to release 3.9.1 for the fixes to go public.
OR
I just found this thread –
Ultimate Tinymce will no longer function properly on WordPress versions 3.9 and higher.
Instead.. it’s time to switch to WP Edit:
http://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/wp-edit/There is an option under the “Database” tab in WP Edit to attempt to import option from Ultimate Tinymce.
I’m going to try it.

In reply to: Text colorsI agree – total pain.

In reply to: Text colorsI agree theblondemovement – we need our color picker back! I suppose we could do it with HTML from the text editor, but that seems so 1994, doesn’t it? We used to do that in computer class.

In reply to: Text colorsNo Andrew – it’s also an issue in Safari.

In reply to: Text colorsI didn’t, but I lost a lot of buttons from TinyMCE – however – they are there if I mouse over them, I just can’t see them. Do you have this?

In reply to: Text colorsI hope this get’s fixed quickly. It is definitely a needed option.
