@rossmitchell – Sorry, my response was very vague. Yes, adjusting line-height does influence spacing between lines, but it appears it does not do what I’m looking for – only add space between individual line items in unordered lists in widgets. I’m trying to add space between individual line items – not each line – because I’m trying to visually differentiate each line item so it is obvious, for example, where a link to one blog post ends in a “Recent Posts” widget and the link to the next blog post begins.

Using line-height did not work either. Any other suggestions?
