Now, I go to wp-admin>Appearance>Themes> and choose back Mesocolumn.
Still, the problem does not go away.

customizer->reset solved the issue. I can now see all the posts in my homepage. Is there any way to avoid this from happening again?
Lastly, with regards to my 2nd question “whenever I click publish / update, it brings me to a blank page.” Is this an error and is it possible to rectify?
