@richard I do, that’s how I always do it. (I wasn’t even aware there was a different way to do it, honestly). I enter my username and password, and then it just redirects me to http://www.twiceblessedcomic.com/wp-login.php?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.twiceblessedcomic.com%2Fwp-admin%2F&reauth=1 if I enter my correct info. If I got back to /wp-admin and try again, same thing.
Well, apparently they can’t restore my site like I thought they could, so I really need to figure out how to fix this. At least I was able to html in a notice at the top of the site so my readers know what is going on. Ugly as sin, though…
No major changes were made right before the problem. Everything was working fine and then somehow things got borked. I tried everything recommended in that Codex, and have had no success. I contacted my host, they are going to try resetting everything on my website to how it was 5 days ago (they archive complete backups), hopefully that will work…
