For now we don’t have any limits for the file type. Actually you can use in our gallery all images which you can upload to the wordpress media manager.
For now gallery user do not able to upload images to the gallery. Only way to upload images to the gallery it’s use admin section. For now only website admins allow to upload media resources to the gallery.
Just open media manager of the gallery and add link to the video to the image settings. Every gallery image have additional parameters. One of the fields it’s video link where you can define some link to the youtube videos.
You can find gallery widget in admin section – widgets. When you open widgets you can find wpTools Gallery widget. Just add this widget to some bar and create gallery.
